Giving
members free classifieds access
Steps:

Login to your
master admin at
www.<yourdomain>.com/cgi-bin/master/Admin.cgi
-
Go to "Member
Config"
-
Update the
"Charging method" to "Free"
Note: If your charging for
other modules such as brochures, then leave the "Charging
method" as "Fee Based" and simply enter a "0" price value on
the classifieds variables.

Charging members to get classifieds access
Steps:

Update the
"Charging method" to "Fee Based"

Change the
prices/fees that you want to charge next to the
classifieds line items

Managing Classified Ads
There are three
different ad modes as follows:
-
Visible
- This mode means that the ad is active and your website
visitors and view the ad information.
-
Not
Visible - The mode means that the site owner has
decided to make the ad not available to the public for
whatever reason.
-
Pending
- If the site owner has in the configuration settings
for all new ads to be in a "Pending" mode, then it will
not be shown to the public until the admin manually
reviews the ad and accepts it by putting it in a
"Visible" mode.
Steps:

Login to your
master admin at
www.<yourdomain>.com/cgi-bin/master/Admin.cgi

Go to
"Classifieds" then click on the "View Pending" link
-
You will see a status drop down box next
to each ad that's in a pending mode.

Adding 3rd party banner code to show banners in ads
You can add 3rd
party banner manager software or other scripts to your
member's ads. You will want to modify any of the
templates found under the sections of "Visitor Pages" on the
classifieds customizing page located
here.

Creating custom
categories
You can easily
create your own unique custom categories by doing the steps
below.
Step:

Login to your
master admin at
www.<yourdomain>.com/cgi-bin/master/Admin.cgi
-
Go to
"Classifieds" then click on the "Category
Manager" link
-
You can edit
the name by clicking "edit" next to a category you want
renamed. NOTE: You can NOT change the
database format of an existing category. In some
situations, it may be better to delete the categories you
don't want and create brand new categories with the
database format you want to use. See database
information below to view which fields are included in
each database format.

email text and whether or not to send the emails
accordingly

website
Step:

your classifieds button on your website to the following url:
