below will describe the installation procedures to install
kcscripts.com software. Free installation is also
available by
contacting us with
your domain name and ftp login information.
Installation
settings for scripts purchased:
Step By Step Installation Guide
To prepare the
installation of kcscripts software, do the following:

Step 1:
Unzip the files on your computer hard drive keeping the
exact same directory structure.

Step 2:
Move the files located within the cgi-bin folder to your
cgi-bin folder on your server.
-
Step 3:
Move all files & folders outside of the cgi-bin to your
public area of your website. This is typically where
you would have your home page (index.htm).
-
Step 4:
Set the permissions for the
Control Panels
-
Step 5:
Set the permissions for the Installation Wizard
-
Step 6:
Set the permissions for all applications purchased
-
Step 7:
Set the permissions for each script with the settings
described below
-
Step 8:
Run the installation wizard at:
www.<yourdomain>.com/cgi-bin/installation/installation.cgi
-
Step 9:
Remove the cgi-bin/installation/ folder from your server
for security purposes
-
Step 10:
Login at
www.<yoursite>.com/cgi-bin/master/Admin.cgi
*Once the installation is done, you'll want to view the quick
start guide by clicking on it after logging into the master
admin.
