Managing payment options

KCScripts software currently allows three payment options for membership registration (if charging) and the shopping cart which are manual payments (postal mail), paypal, and authorize.net.

  1. Login to your master admin at www.<yourdomain>.com/cgi-bin/master/Admin.cgi

  2. Go to "Payment Config"

  3. Check the boxes next to the payment options you want to provide

Manual payments:  This is the payment option for your members or shopping cart visitors can simply mail in the payments to you.

Paypal:  You can offer paypal payments using the service located at www.paypal.com.  You will need to have a business account which is still typically free other than the normal transaction fees.  The downside of paypal is that your customers also have to have a paypal account to purchase from you which may cause you to lose sales.

Authorize.net:  This is a secure way of handling transactions that offer hassle free order processing.  We use authorize.net so you can see by our ordering process how it could work for you.

Creating custom control panels

You can easily create your own unique branded control panels for the site owners and members.  Lets say for example that you have a customer that is only using the calendar module.  You can modify the gl_admin.txt to remove every button except the calendar and other related items.
