
The site search script allows a site owner to offer an easy way for their visitors to find files within their website. The information below will help you utilize the script quickly and effectively.
You can set the configuration options to determine how the searches are performed.
Steps:
Login to your master admin at www.<yourdomain>.com/cgi-bin/master/Admin.cgi
Click on "Site Search"
Click on "Configuration"
Set the variables accordingly
Add directories that can be searched
You will need to tell the scripts which directories you want to allow your visitors to search. You may not want every directory on your server to be included in the search results such as members only folders etc.
Steps:
Login to your master admin at www.<yourdomain>.com/cgi-bin/master/Admin.cgi
Click on "Site Search"
Click on "Add New Directory"
Enter variables accordingly
If you want to provide your site owner a more extensive or "modified" version of help files you can.
Step:
Using your
html editor on your pc, modify the following template:
help-scripts/help-site_search.htm (master admin help)
Simply save the file with your new design and move it over to the server. You will want to keep your images outside of the cgi-bin.

Step:

Click on "Site Search"
Click on "HTML Code"
Copy and paste the code provided into your website. You can modify the look to fit better within your website by modifying the code if needed.
